This word has been one of the highlight for me since I started to look for a web host in the last days. In the world where everything is limited, how unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited domain, unlimited ect sound possible? But the high competitive hosting industry has put the companies in the thin ice, so they are overselling the product with a lot of terms and conditions, and use shitty server component. However, after I dived really deep into webhostingtalk forum and webhostingjury user reviews, I found that HostGator is a very well respective company. They are different. I’ve talked few times with the chat support, they are quite friendly and has a pretty good technical knowledge too. I think I’m gonna give HG a chance. Oh yeah, I’m still crunching the numbers and algorithms in the fortune. Lord please help me.

This is my first failure that is listed in the blog (read previous post entitled “I’m the new Jerome”); I can’t finish fortune in a timely fashion. Well, actually I was kinda busy with another freelance project but still. This is gonna be the last failure. All the goals are postponed a month with the same objectives.

Will I finish the fortune? Will I finish it on time? Will the server able to handle the requests? Will I have enough money to buy the server? Will I have enough money to do the marketing? Will the marketing path that I choose work? Will I constantly spend money for marketing? Will people like the product? Will I get one million user? Will I get it in one year? Will it gives profit? Will it gives profit that can be categorized as job? Will I able to found a company based on this? Will I able to expand the company? Will I create a work field for other people? Will I able to found a social organization in helping the orphanage kids? Will I make my mother and father proud and happy of me?

Shoot,, shoot,, shoot, I encounter some problem with my freelance project; print the pdf from browser. Shoot…!! The fortune project should be delayed in (I hope) a small amount of time. Be right back ASAP…!!

Back to the book that I read (see previous posts).  The first lesson after creating the goals is to experience a new thing to open new opportunities and feeling fresh. Become a vagabond for example. And that what I did last weekend. I went to the Makassar. I did feel fresh but I didn’t feel like getting new ideas there. Maybe I need some exercise on turning things into chances. But however, when I get back home, in my wayfrom the airport, I met a bule, mr Douglas,  he came from Chicago. He told me that he’s investing in Apple Computer by buying some of their stocks. And he’s also complaining that when people investing in some company,  it is illegal to get some information from the inside. So it’s basically like gambling. And then I said that someday I’m gonna start my own dot com company, and then I were joking that he is allowed to be my investor and get legal information from the inside. But then he was actually interested about the idea, and told me to tell him as soon as possible when I start it because he was looking for such opportunity. Hm, that’s not expected. Maybe my goals that are sound impossible are not really impossible after all.

Now I remember what kind of job that I want since I was a kid; an inventor! A creator of something useful for human kind. As I grow old, the temptation of gold, glory and girl are affecting my way of seeing things. Well, not exactly in that order . When I graduated from University, I only see that 3G. It’s a shame. I know what I want, but I don’t know how to get it. I’m willing to deal with jobs that is not my passion to achieve that goal. It is really a shame. I’ve been working now for 6 months, now I remember that actually I hate repetitive jobs. It’s boring. I like studying more.

Just bought a new book from Eran Katz entitled “Jerome Becomes a Jenius”. Interesting book.  As I read the book till I finish (so far I’ve  reached the chapter 8 ), I’m gonna put myself as Jerome. The first step is to define what the plan or goals in the forthcoming years. Here’s my goals are; 1. By the end of the month I should finish my personal project (codename: fortune). 2. Fortune should be ready to be published in January 1st. 3. By the end of the 2010, fortune should have 1 million users. 4. By the end of 2011, fortune should have 10 million users. 5. In the next five years, get two master degrees; one in business (from Warthon), one in IT (from MIT). Sounds impossible? Well that’s the point!!!

I’ve been googling for centuries, but last hour is the first time that I use “I’m feeling lucky” feature from google out of mis-click accident. I guess I’m very skeptic about the concept of lucky in life.

People make assumption based on appearance. I may look like a geek and nerd. But that doesn’t mean that I’m so techy. My programming skill is average at best. I don’t have any hacking skill at all. Ask me the latest gadget or hardware and my answer will pretty much same; “Let me google it first”. I don’t remember all the price for any tech stuff that you might buy. That’s that. I’m just a guy who keep willing to learn.

I bring my shaving to the whole new level. I’m trying the shaving foam just now. My chin is really smooooth. I should’ve tried it from a long time ago.

And i’m listening the mixed playlist of yiruma, debussy, and joe hisaishi now. Makes me cooperate with dizzy stuffs.
